Unter Brom-Isotope werden alle Atomkerne des chemischen Elements Brom zusammengefasst; diese bestehen aus einem Atomkern mit 35 Protonen und im ungeladenen Zustand aus 35 Elektronen. Der Unterschied zwischen den einzelnen Brom-Isotopen liegt in der Anzahl der Neutronen im Kern begründet.
Natürlich auftretende Brom-Isotope
Brom tritt in der Natur als Gemisch der beiden stabilen Isotope Brom-79 und Brom-81 auf, die jeweils etwa zur Hälfte an der Isotopenzusammensetzung beteiligt sind.
